This year, Tartu Hanseatic Days are celebrating a jubilee and inviting people round for a birthday party. For the 20th time, the centre of Tartu turns into an area with medieval atmosphere where you can enjoy food made of local produce, learn new skills in different workshops, visit numerous concerts and have a great time with both your older and younger friends. As appropriate for the jubilee-celebrating Hanseatic Days, a bountiful Hanseatic Fair is held.
There will also be an opportunity to build robots, attend astronomy workshops or learn about the Martian house project and artificial muscles at Science Town with University of Tartu researchers.
The Science Town will be held primarily at Struve’s Geodetic Arc and in the garden of Tartu Old Observatory.
