about estonia

Reflection Of Enter E Estonia Annika Haas

#1 digital society

Welcome to the most advanced digital society in the world. In a country where 100% of public services are online, and everything can be signed digitally, technology is embedded in the culture. No wonder it is also the start-up nation of Europe. If innovation excites you, this is the place to be.

great work-life balance

All work and no play makes you dull. Full stop. Short commute times and flexible working hours let you enjoy your free time to the fullest. Use the free time for hobbies, spend it with friends & family or just do nothing at all. Experience clean air, abundant nature and one of the safest cities in Europe.

career boost

Estonians value straightforward communication and low workplace hierarchy. Here ideas are more important than age, and skills are valued over small-talk. Make new connections in a heartbeat, get your dream career going, buckle up and be ready for lift-off.

clean & wild

Estonia has some of the cleanest air you'll ever breathe — even in the city. And with the low population density and abundance of great outdoors, you'll have no problem hearing yourself think. 30 minutes is the farthest you'll have to travel to find yourself completely immersed in nature.

"yes, I speak english"

While Estonian is the official language here, the vast majority of native Estonians speak excellent English. The Estonian government provides free language lessons for new arrivals, but if you speak some English, chances are you'll get along just fine.

safety & stability

Even in the larger population centres, Estonia has low corruption and crime. Nothing too dramatic happens here. That might sound a bit boring but in this case, is boring such a bad thing? Life is safe and secure here, meaning the most you'll have to sweat is in the sauna.

too good to be true?

Estonians are honest to a fault. So if this sounds too good to be true, we'll be the first to admit we have flaws like everyone else. The winters here are dark and cold (up to -20˚C) but the white nights of summer more than make up for it. Estonians may seem reserved at first, but get to know us and you've found a friend for life!
