Work in Estonia

Work in Estonia is a program led by Enterprise Estonia. The goal of Work in Estonia is to simplify the process for local companies to employ overseas experts. The program also introduces Estonia as an attractive living and working destination to potential, talented would-be employees worldwide. www.workinestonia.com

Marketing

To make Estonia more visible and attractive for an international talent pool, Work in Estonia produces and provides marketing materials that are free to use – videos, testimonials, campaign visuals, articles and more.

Besides sharing materials through our website, Work in Estonia also performs marketing campaigns (AD, PR, events) in selected countries.

Promoting available job offers

Although Work in Estonia is not an actual job portal and does not offer direct HR services to companies, we do our best to help promote Estonian job offers on international markets.

What we do?

– Every month we put together a newsletter focused on one sector with high demand for foreign workforce or on job offers with similar qualification requirements.

This collection is shared on Job offers, social media sites and on international networks lists (Estonian embassies around the world, university alumni lists, career consultation centres abroad, etc.).

– We promote individual job offers on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn). All you need to do is send us the link to your job offer.

– We participate in events and fairs where Estonia has a national booth or stand (Work in Estonia, EURES international job fairs, Study in Estonia, etc.).

“Destination Estonia – Relocation Guide”

In 2014, Work in Estonia published a practical handbook on relocating to Estonia. It is available online (and also in hard copy) and it gives an overview about housing, taxes, transportation, education and other aspects of everyday life together with key figures.

The Relocation Guide is available in English, Finnish and Russian.

History

In 2013–2014, the integration project “Work in Estonia”, financed by the Integration and Migration Foundation “Our People” and aimed at the integration of foreign employees working in enterprises related to the Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, was carried out.

The goal of the project was to introduce Estonia to employees and families of other nationalities working in enterprises in the Tehnopol area.

The aim was to help them understand local traditions, national and cultural differences, visit interesting places and share insights into everyday life in Estonia.
